Transformers: The live action movie!

August 24th, 2006

Ok, as many of you may know, i LOVE transformers, to me,it was the pinnacle of childrens tv,and probably still is,as childrens tv is not the same as it was, but thats beside the point, as i speak, the live action movie is in creation, and, well, im excited, REALLY excited, this is what ive been waiting on for years, to see Optimus Prime back on top form, and kick some ass, it really is a dream come true.

There has been a transformers movie before, back in the 80’s, and it was a cartoon, and was just a continuation of the storylines from the series(this was made inbetween series 2 and 3) and it also rocked! There was 80’s rock(which i believe Al has hidden somewhere),some new bots and LOTS of action,if you havent seen it, you really havent lived. If the new film can get anywhere near as good as this, then thats good for the Transformers Universe.

The transformers who will appear in the movie have just been released and go like this:

AUTOBOTS
Optimus Prime
Bumblebee
Jazz
Ratchet
Ironhide

DECEPTICONS
Megatron
Starscream
Brawl
Bonecrusher
Barricade
Skorpinok
Frenzy
Blackout

Some of the vehicle modes have been changed to match in to 2006/7, but i think thats acceptible, althouugh sad at the same time.

If Michael bay(the director) messes this up, i will actually shoot him, i will not be a happy chappy. What i really hope is that its a success, the youth of today learn to appreciate transformers, and that theres many sequels, matching the cartoon storylines a wee bit, and adding more bots(like soundwave, hot rod and ultra magnus)
Good luck Michael, you have alot on your shoulders

And thats the bottom line cos…

STONE COLD said so! Yep, thats who the next WWE hero is, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rattlesname himself:

stone cold steve austin

This guy is an actual lunatic, but in the good sense. Whereas The Rock kicks asses, Austin whoops them and just keeps doing it. He’s been a WWE wrestler for many many years, and still makes the odd appearance now and then.

He’s had some of the best matches ever fought, and has the devastating finisher known as….The Stone Cold Stunner, below is an example of it:

How mega is that move, look at the bounce! This is why this guy is feared as a wrestler, cos he does whoop ass!

There was a time though, when he wasnt as well liked, it was the storyline of when the WCW(rival wrestling company who had just been put out of business by the WWE) invaded the WWE nad wanted to take it over, and they were led by Stone Cold. He did eventually make up for it though, as you’ll see below, in a match where there were 2 WWE starts against LOTS of WCW stars:

THAT is the reason why today, and for ever, Stone Cold is a WWE hero!!!

Cheezy:)

p.s. again. There will be 1 more and final WWE hero, but before that, there will be a list of WWE/WWF stars who deserve a small mention.

Stop The Rock, can’t stop The Rock…

April 19th, 2006

Now, what is my title all about, is it about that really old song that just goes on and on? Is it, as it says, about a rock?Well………..no, actually. Its about THE Rock! The only true Rock. This man right hereThe Rock
The peoples champion himself, thats how much he was loved

Now a Hollywood actor, back in the day, when he was coolest, he was a WWF/WWE wrestling star! One o the best! He kicked ass for a living, and he kicked it well! With such moves as the peoples punches and the spine buster, only set him up for “THE most electrifying move in sports entertainment”, The Peoples Elbow. You can see an example below:

He did also have another finishing move, the Rock Bottom, also seen below:(this particular one whilst putting someone through a table :))

I dont care how bad his movies get, i actually enjoyed some of them, I will always remember him for his glory days as a wrestler, and the day he goes back, is a good day for the WWE.

The Rock is a REAL American hero!

Cheezy

p.s. In a couple of days, yet another WWE hero, but who……….?

The future life of Cheeze

Means i can stay in Glasgow for the next 3/4 years of education, which should be good. Also means ill be “uni buddies” with Dinoman and Scotia, woohoo.:)

Christmas time etc

December 30th, 2005

Well, you may have noticed that Christmas has come and gone, and what a great time it was. This Christmas must have been one of the best ive had, if not the best! It started off on christmas eve when me, doug, mike, James and kayleigh went to gilli’s and KT’s watch night service, which was rather good, especiall seeing KT do her solo and Gilli playing her saxaphone, at which I thought she was good at. After the service we all went to gillians house and exchanged presents and cards with each other, which was SO much fun! It was the first time id spent any of christmas with friends, so it was a great feeling. I got an RC car, Matt Redmans Face Down DVD, a batman toy and the grease soundtrack( wins the most random present award).

So i got home at 2 in the morning, and got woke up at 8 and then opened my presents, was supreme, got so much good stuff. Below is a list of what I got:

DVD’s

Kingdom of Heaven
Man on Fire
Pulp Fiction
Hellboy
Elektra
Constantine
Resevoir Dogs
Sin City
Chronicles of Riddick
Still Game season 4
Matt Redman Face Down
House of Flying Daggers
U2- Vertigo Tour 2005
Collateral

CD’s

Best of R.E.M.
Franz Ferdinnds new album

PS2 Games

The Matric: Path of Neo
WWE- Smackdown vs Raw 2006
Pro Evolution Soccer 5

Stuff

40GB MP3 player(it’s an actual brick,hehe)
Rythm Sticks-think of electric drumsticks that make drum noises with no drums
A UFO, it flies cos of a propellar,so much fun
Freeview
And some clothes.

So after opening all them,i sat most of the day playing PS2 nd watching DVD’s until like 11, when all the crew from the night before bombed round to james’s house and had a good laugh. Had a few group heart to hearts, and tried to decipher the girls code language, and came up with our own. Again, was good to spend the last bit of christmas woth the people i’d spent the first bit of it with. I got home at like 6, and slept til 1.

Since Christmas, i’ve been goin up to Super g’s house, and had a friends 18th birthday party last night, which was loadsa fun. Best of all though, it SNOWED, but it melted today, and that sucks!

Well, tomorrow folks, there is a birthday within the Moose ranks, Dinoman will be joining manhood by turning 18. He’s having a small soical gathering after Ben and Heathers hogmanay bash.

Sorry about the long post, but it will be my last post of 2005, so thought i’d make it worthwhile.

Hope you all have a great new year, and will see you all in 2006!

UCAS

December 16th, 2005

Well, lately Cheezy has been attempting to fill out his UCAS form so that he can apply to uni for next year. I want to do communiy education or the like so that I can become a qualified yout worker.

UCAS forms suck!!! They take ages to fill out, and worst of all, theres the personal statement!Ive really struggled with it, cos its really hard writing abot myself and knowing what to write. Ive applied for 3 universities. Leeds metropolitan, Edinburgh, and Strathclyde.

Glasgow may be cheezyless next year, but then again, maybe not……

I’M BACK!!!

October 11th, 2005

Well, after a 2 month absence(has it been that long already) the Cheezyboy is back to posting on the old Moose site. So, what has the Cheeze been up to?

New job-I now work with project scotland and a group called firestarters. I need to do 4 hours discipleship training a week, 3 hours personal study online(i get a diploma in youth work out of it) and 11 hours placement in a youth work place,so im soin chrysalis. I get paid £55 a week,so i’m happy.

Finland-was in Finland on college trip, twas immense and had loads a fun.

That’s about it actually, i aint done much.

Just thought i’d say a wee hello to say i’m back.

Cheezy

Cheezy might actually do some MORE work!

August 10th, 2005

Yep, that’s right, not only have I been working for the council, I may soon be working for Debenhams again, but doing a completely different job. Instead of working on the shop floor being a sales monkey sorry assistant, I would be handing out leaflets in the St. Enoch centre and the shop entrance and also informing the public about special offers etc. So Cheezy amazingly becomes even more of a nuisance to society then he usually is, it’s great. I have the interview tomorrow at 4, so I hope I get it just in time for me finishing with the council, that would be amazing!

I will actually be sad to not be a sessional playworker anymore, it’s been great fun, and the team have been great, we’ve all had a great laugh, although recently, more and more at my expence, but I can take it, cos i’ve managed some good insults myself, so it’s been pretty balanced out.

Talk to you all soon(when I think about what else I can post about)

Cheezy ;)

Away

July 9th, 2005

Well folks, camp starts today(for the leaders anyway), so I won’t be posting cos ill be away. Camp is being held in a private boarding school down in the borders, which is technically classed as England(contreversial ;) )

Well, have to go pick some stuff up,then finish packing, lol.

Cya in a week

Cheezy actually does some work!

July 4th, 2005

Well, not quite, i had training for my new job today.

After complaining about the council in my rant a few weeks ago, they actually decided to give me a job, that was nice of them. My official position is “sessional playworker”. I get paid £7 an hour, and i have lots of training this week. Today, we had to go through the councils policies and procedures, which was more exciting than watching paint dry, but not as exciting as Ben Affleck getting shot(still miffed bout that). They showed us a video about Glasgow, but it wasn’t the Glasgow we all know, oh no, this was the Glasgow to come. If you didn’t live in Glasgow, it would make you want to live here, cos it shows nice and pretty things(that haven’t happened yet, and probably won’t either).

Besides that, we got shown a video on the first aid procedures. It was actually a mini casualty. If you’ve ever seen the show, you’ll know what i mean. It shwed a scenario that could go wrong in some way, then it did go wrong, then we were sgown how to deal with it, was pretty entertaining(well, the bad acting was anyway).

Then, in the afternoon, we split into two groups. For the first hour, group 1(my group) done an excercise on “what is a playworker?”. this helped outline what my job actually would entail and what i’d be doing, twas helpful. Then for the second hour we spoke about inclusion of play, which was all about making sure that ALL children can join in the game, which was specifically aimed at including disabled children, somehting which i’d never touched upon before, again, incredibly helpful. The training so far has been very good, my opinion of the council has improved just over one day, as kids futures are important to them, and to me.

Training later on in the week includes:

Parachute games, ball games, games with no equipment, nonsense(don’t have a clue bout that one) and team challenges(team building stuff i think, which should be fun).

There were alot of nice people there, very easy to get on with. We all know how hard I find it to talk to new people, lol. I actually told the people i was talking to that if i was talking too much just to tell me to shut up,lol. One thing I did notice, there were only about 14 males at the training, including myself, out of 70 people, roughly. Not that i’m complaining, just thought i’d make note.

Also met a friend of my mums, who’s a student at Glasgow Uni and my mum put her on teacher placement, so she gave me a lift home, and will give me a life there aswell tomorrow, SCORE!

End of the long post
